JAMFAN blends traditional portraiture with abstract imagery, generating a synesthetic experience consisting of improvisational music and experimental art. The unique portraits which make up the JAMFAN series celebrate Mark’s favorite musicians, from The Grateful Dead to the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Each piece in the JAMFAN series is based on the photography of renowned live music photographer Jay Blakesberg, with his generous permission.
